Critical Minerals
A planned expansion beyond gold — developed strategically with international offtakers, grant-making institutions and governments.
Our direction
From a gold platform to a minerals platform
Memnon has built its model in gold: verified licences, stage-gated exploration, accountable processing and traceable product. We now plan to apply that model to critical minerals — the industrial and technology metals that manufacturers and governments are working to secure from responsible, diversified sources.
Uganda hosts a broad range of these minerals, and national policy is moving firmly toward exploration, better mineral data and in-country value addition. Memnon intends to enter the segment deliberately, and with partners involved from the start.
Planned, not announced
We are at strategy and screening stage. Projects will be named only when licensed and verified.
Partnership-led
Demand, funding and policy alignment are secured alongside the geology, not after it.

Scope
Critical minerals in general, screened on merit
We are not tied to a single commodity. Opportunities are screened across the critical-minerals family and advanced where geology, licensing, market demand and partner interest line up.
Examples are illustrative of the minerals Memnon may screen and are not a statement of licences held, resources or planned production. Other critical and industrial minerals may be considered on the same basis.
Strategic partnerships
Three partners at the table from day one
Critical-mineral projects succeed when the buyer, the funder and the state are aligned early. Memnon plans to structure each opportunity around all three.
International offtakers
Refiners, traders and industrial end-users. Early offtake dialogue defines product specification and volumes, anchors project finance and gives buyers a traceable, responsibly produced supply.
Grant-makers & development finance
Grant-giving institutions, development agencies and development-finance institutions. Grant and concessional funding supports early geology, feasibility, ESG baselines and community programmes.
Governments
The Government of Uganda and partner governments. We align with licensing and value-addition policy and with international initiatives on secure, responsible mineral supply chains.

- Relationships with government and miners’ associations
- Community programme with Spotlight On Africa
Planned pathway
Screen → Partner → Explore → Structure → Add value
An indicative sequence for how Memnon intends to enter critical minerals. Timing depends on licensing, partner agreements and financing.
Screen
Identify prospective minerals, ground and licence routes.
Partner
Engage offtakers, grant-makers and government early.
Explore
Stage-gated field work and independent verification.
Structure
Project vehicles with offtake and blended funding.
Add value
Processing and beneficiation in Uganda where viable.
Status and important information
Memnon’s critical-minerals activity is at planning stage. Nothing on this page implies that Memnon holds critical-mineral licences, resources, reserves, offtake agreements, grant awards or government approvals. Any such developments will be announced only once concluded and, where relevant, independently verified. All plans are indicative and subject to licensing, partner agreements, financing and due diligence.
